Curb Sawing

Cuts that are flush with the ground
Curb sawing is useful for making horizontal cuts close to the ground, for instance, removing a median in a parking lot. A specialized saw is used for curb cutting, featuring a large circular blade capable of cuts that are virtually flush with the ground.

Although precision curb sawing is certainly available, it’s more often that curb cutting is used for demolition. A roadway with a concrete divider is a good example. If a new divider is to be installed, or the roadway altered in some way, simply knocking down the divider is a messy process that will leave rugged remains protruding from the surface. Instead, a curb saw can be used to remove each length of divider neatly and efficiently, saving time and money.
